Echo 655T Acoustic Liquid Handler Features
Key advantages
– Faster dispensing speed from a qualified Echo sample tube
– Simplified compound library screening through direct transfer from acoustic sample tubes
– Elimination of compound loss, cross-contamination, carryover or leaching through contactless transfer
– Minimized DMSO hydration through environmentally controlled transfer zone
– Acoustic management of sample tubes
– The FluidX AcoustiX Sample Tube (FAST) was developed for storing ultra-high density samples in collaboration with and is commercialized by Brooks Life Sciences. The acoustic tube offers the following benefits:
– Echo Qualified Design: Compatible with Echo 650T and 655T liquid handlers
– Preserves sample integrity from storage to screening
– Minimize pre-liquid handling steps to preserve sample
– Rapid selection of sample sets for targeted screening
– Workflow automation
– To meet the broad spectrum of sample processing needs, the Echo 655T liquid handler integrates seamlessly with the highly configurable Access™ dual robotic system, accommodating a wide variety of devices and enabling a fully automated workflow .
– Configured for optimal performance for sample management workflows
– Compact and ergonomic design with docking modules, rotating tables, retractable shelves and drawers
Optional features may include environmental management to protect samples from hydration or evaporation
The new sound of sample management
The Echo 655T Liquid Handler supports sample transfer directly from qualified Echo sample tubes, enabling a contactless liquid handling workflow from sample storage to assay-ready plates. The Echo 655T liquid handler can transfer as little as 2.5 nl from 384-well and 1536-well microplates, and now from sample tubes grouped in a 96-tube format. Additionally, it transfers at the highest speed to meet the needs of high-throughput cellular and biochemical screening.
